| Showcase Event Photos Thursday, 26th March, 2009 Here are the photos from our Showcase event last week. Mainly an exercise in how many people and works of art we could squeeze into a cafe, we also managed to show our new video and an interactive photo project some of us have been working on. Enjoy.

Zine Zine Zine Wednesday, 18th March, 2009 We're looking for contributors for our upcoming Zine (an original creative magazine). If you are an artist, photographer or writer this is an exciting opportunity for publication. The deadline for contributing to our Zine is now set as Tuesday 31st March 2009. The Thinkbox asks you to answer the question… “Who is God?” We are looking for a creative response to this question to form part of a whole Zine full of different responses from different viewpoints. In doing this, you are absolutely free to interpret this question in whatever way you wish. The aim is not to acquire artwork in ideological agreement, rather to ask you to challenge your own personal beliefs through the process of making art. The Thinkbox does not expect you already to have defined ideas about God, or about the existence of God. All responses are valid. Artwork can be pre-existing or new, rushed or highly finished, and in any medium, though please consider the display of the work in a magazine. Please accompany with a short written response to explain your response to the question (50-200 words, not necessarily directly related to the work). Solely written reponses to the question can be 300-400 words long. Submit via email to thethinkbox@hotmail.co.uk. Anyone is open to contribute. Thinkbox Showcase Event on 17/03/09 Monday, 9nd March, 2009
On Tuesday 17th March we are having an exciting showcase event for all our Thinkbox work so far! This will hopefully include... a display of artwork, the results of our video project, a taster of our latest Zine, and an all new interactive photography project we've been working on. All this in the kitsch-tastic surroundings of the wonderful Heaton Perk! Could you ask for much more? Do you Zine ? Monday, 2nd March, 2009 The Thinkbox asks you… “Who is God?” We are putting together an art zine (kind of like a magazine) asking creative folk to respond to this question.
